We live in a very friendly street, with loads of kids around who are all of similar ages.

Yesterday we met our new neighbours, who moved in a couple of weeks ago. Their 2 kids joined in almost straight away with instant rapport with the 4 houses worth of children already playing (as kids do).

The 6 adults sat down to a coffee and introductions, which subsequently turned into wine/ beer and interesting conversation over the next few hours.

It was great to meet the newest members of the local clan, and I think it's pretty certain there will be many more nights like this in 2014 🙂
