boy have I been busy this week, so my apologies for the lack of updates since the site change.
So far this week i have been one of the 1st into and last out of the office almost every day. Its been really good as i prefer to be busy rather than quiet.
Anyway, over the weekend we went for a drive…
After getting to our destination in about 40min we decided that we felt like going further (after brunch of course).
Next thing we know we are in Whangarei…
What a mistake that was. The whole town was white trash central! We spent 20 min there, and that was enough.
Which bring me to my question of the week, why is it that the smaller the town, the higher the percentage of bogans? I mean, we must have had the only car in the entire town that was actually going to pass its next warrant!
I thought i had picked up a ticket for 120 while passing on the way home. In the end, he flew straight past at high speed. Next thing we know anouther one flew by (a couple of minutes later) at an amazing speed…
Turns out they were late for their afternoon tea… We past them and a highway patrol car all parked up the road standing round sharing out some coffee from a thermus 🙂
