Once upon a time there was a lonely little piece of the inter-web named 66.220.30.53 (well call him 66 for short).
Little 66 was lonely, no one ever came to visit him, he had no owner to care for him, and he was feeling rather empty.
Then one day a nice couple found him. The adopted him and cared for him. They encouraged people to visit him, and slowly over time with a lot of support and nurturing her grew into a fully grown site.
However, as the young couple grew up, their lives got busier, and they started spending less and less time with 66.
Occasionally the couple would realise they had been neglecting 66, and would have a flurry of visits. But after a week this would generally stop, and 66 would only see them once or twice a month.
66 didn’t mind so much initially, as he still had lots of visitors. But over time as the couple stopped caring for him, the visitors also started to slow down.
66 had over heard the couple discussing him on a number of times, and the discussions were not good. One of the couple had raised on a number of times the idea of no longer looking after 66, and simply let him survive on the information he currently had and the visitors he occasionally got.
Thankfully, the other member of the couple refused to let 66 go so easily. Every time the topic came up, they refused to let the other half leave 66, and promised to visit and take care of him more often.
But 66 had started to realise these conversations were happening more often, and despite the promises, the updating didn’t last more than a week.
Fearing the worst, 66 decided to take some action.
Given the fact that the couple hardly visited him, there was no point in him trying to change the couples minds.
So he decided to ask his visitors to help him by sending the couple reasons why they would be upset if they completely stopped caring for their friend 66.
The couple saw this and decided to wait and see what the readers thought.
