We took LJ down to get his first pair of real shoes today. A real milestone.

He’s just starting to take his first few steps and will be walking properly within days most likely.

I found myself unavailable to believe he’s almost 1, they grow up so quick.

Then it was CJ’s also needed a pair, a sporty model perfect for running and scuffing on the bike.

So I repeat the mirror shot and stand mouth open for a bit in shock. It’s like an odd sort of time machine.

They grow up almost before your eyes don’t they.
