Auckland Traffic is hideous. So you can imagine my horror when I had to make an emergency trip over to Newmarket on Friday afternoon.

Things were made worse by the fact it was a long weekend in Auckland. So, as with any long weekend, the rush hour to get out of town had started at 8am.

We got over there ok, but by the time we turned around to come back it was 4pm – disasterious. But that was when things started going right.

We pulled out into the traffic behind a brand new Aston Martin.

Now following an Astion allievated the trip some what, but the novelty started to wear off rather soon…

And then we realised that it wasn’t just one…

It was a truck loaded with 3 identical Aston Martins! Very cool.

We spent the rest of the trip home watching the reactions on other drivers faces as they went past.

My parting thought for today is, its amazing how many drivers sit at the lights picking their nose oblivious to what is parked next to them.
