It’s been a very long day, but we are halfway there.

I’ve spent most of today shovelling stones and ripping out plants. I can hardly move tonight with a very sore back and tired everything.

It’ll be worth it once it’s done. It’ll be a new vege garden for the boys to grow some vegetables in.

Reinforcements (GD and Be) arrived mid afternoon and gave a final push to get it all done. Without them We’d still have a hedge through the middle and probably wouldn’t have managed to get the weed matting out yet.

The next step is to add some topsoil/compost in. I think it’ll take a couple of tonnes to fill it. That will have to be next weekends job as I’ll need some time to recover first.

I know it’ll look good once done, but right now I’m too tired to care.
