Drove to Whakatane and Port Ohope today,  We’ve never been to either of those places so enjoyed exploring two very pleasant spots.  Stopped for lunch at a busy little cafe at Port Ohope, but as soon as the people at the table next to us left the cafe the local seagulls swooped and squawked and fought over the titbits left behind.
