our new flat has had its ups and downs…

I’ll fill this description in properly tomorrow… So check back then…

But in the mean time, lets just say, its i’m looking forward to my first warm shower in days.

Right, back for an update…

We moved in house a week before our holiday

no hot water tap in the bathroom

in hindsight that was a non event

as things went downhill quickly

S1 found a damp area around the bath

the landlord came in

then a plumber

then an electrician

and the bathroom went out

we went on holiday and left them to it

our neighbor was too scared to give us an update while we were away

as the bathroom appeared on the front lawn for a week

the friday before we returned

it all went back in

plumbers left

electrician left

landlord cleaning up

and she found another damp patch

under the hot water cylinder

plumbers back in

electrician back

hot water cylinder out

we arrived home Saturday

no hot water until monday

more cold showers :-/

but this morning

we are back in action

thank goodness…
