We have a new member of the Heenan whānau!!!

Little baby Isla was born at 8.24pm on the 16th of August 2008.

6 pounds and 15 ounces (Isla, if your reading this in years to come, given you were born in the year 2008 I don’t think pounds and ounces are going to mean much to you… so lets try 3.15kg).

Sarah and I headed over on Wednesday night to visit… I had the joy of helping Rory have his bath while Sarah was allowed to hold little Isla. Bath time lasted a lot longer that the ‘holding time’ as Isla decided to cry meaning Sarah was suddenly desperate to give her back (to anyone who would take her!).

Other events in the Heenan household this month include:
an unfortinuate sequence of events that ended with our car in a ditch… the car is all back in one piece now and no one was hurt.
We think we have worked out what it is in tomato that I am allergic to… and it explians why there is a whole bunch of other food that I am sensitive too. Unfortinuatley this ‘may’ include potato! But more experimentation is planned before I am willing to give my chips, mashed supd, roast potatoes… etc. Fingers crossed this isn’t the end of mister potato head!
