So, picture this…

Everything is white,

I step out my front door into a land of snow and ice.

into the car, heaters on, engine on and wait

ease out onto the icy roads… slowly slowly

round the streets on a sheet of ice

and as I approach one of my favourite blip spots

the sun pokes over the horizon

I pull off the road into a small gravel area

reverse around and go to pull away

nothing. nothing at all

Snow, Ice and a slight slope…

reach over, traction control off, a few revs, wheels start to dig, snow flinging past the windows, the wheels hit the gravel

pause, smile… lucky!
