Tonight I found something I haven’t seen for years…

The last time I made one of these I launched it of our decking at the top of a steep valley.

It picked up an up draft and circled to about 30 feet above me before setting off down the valley

We watched it for what must have been minutes, just floating back and forth across the valley

It went so far that we finally lost sight of it’s bright white wings as it floated above the trees below us.

I love simple things like a paper dart.

It’s amazing how excited something so simple can make you feel.
