I just recieved this note from Trade-me…

Thanks for being a Trade Me affiliate. We have recently been experiencing some problems with our affiliate program and as a result have decided to suspend it. As our affiliate program will no longer be working we recommend that you remove the banners from your site.

Unfortunately the click throughs from your site do not add up to the minimum payment and you will not receive a payment from us.

Sorry for any inconvenience the suspension of the program has caused.

This pisses me off! I went to all the trouble to put their link on my site and now they remove it so I get nothing! If I had known they were going to do this then I would have had a decent reputable affiliate link on my site!

I would of at least expected them to say “you have earned $XXX, as this is below the minimum payment amount you will not recieve a payment, however we have credited this amount to your Trade Me account”

That sucks! In general I like trade me, I like them alot, but in this case it seems they have let me down 🙁
