It’s Autumn almost everywhere over here

the leaves are falling softly into the fresh mud

the days are random in warm and cool

windy and wet

however there is one place where it’s not autumn

it’s winter instead

the shops

For some reason they have skipped this time of year all together

and have jumped straight to a wintry white christmas

it’s far to early for that sort of carry on.

Winter will be long enough without accelerating it further.
