I know it’s a bit geeky, but I track my sleep. It’s been fascinating to watch it change after newborn CJ came alone.
2 weeks in, and the results are quite unexpected:
[b]Total Sleep: [/b]- 39 minutes
[b]Light Sleep:[/b] – 57 minutes
No surprises there, but here’s the catch:
[b]Deep Sleep:[/b] [b]+[/b] 18 minutes!
That’s right, I’m actually managing to get more of that healthy deep sleep than I was previously. There has been very few days I’ve felt tired so far… although today was one.
Prior to CJ I woke on average 1.12 times a night. This has almost exactly doubled to be 2.23 times per night, which explains where the missing 39 minutes of sleep is going.
