I have rigged up an old 9″ netbook to run as a video baby monitor

It sits in the corner of our room.

In theory it provides a peace of mind and comfort…

in reality it’s a great distraction which chews up far more time than it should with us just standing and watching him.

He’s grown so much in the last 3 months. Both physically and also developmentally.

Tonight was the first story time where he showed an interest.

looking at the pages as they turned, smiling at the sound of my voice.

S1 sat and cuddled him while I read my favourite books.

4 books later and it was bed time at last.
