I have better photos today, but none of anything quite as important.
Today I handed in my forms, paid my money, and now I wait to hear on British citizenship.
S1 and CJ had a smug look as I’m the odd one out in the house.

There’s only one thing which might stop it going through, a fixed penalty speeding fine of 3 points.
It might sound silly, but the 2nd of Jan 2009 on our way out of Scotland I got snapped by a speed camera in a line of traffic on the motorway.
1 ticket will hopefully be OK (two is apparently a much bigger issue). As a law abiding citizen who would never dream of doing anything wrong, I didn’t expect to have this uncertainty.
Have I learnt my lesson, you bet. My 60mile commute each day now takes place in the slow lane (and has done for years).
I’ve since heard much worse stories, people loosing their new jobs for a single teenage cannabis offence 30 years prior, or missing out on dream jobs for the wrong comments on facebook years earlier.
It makes you stop and think, such small things at the time can have ripples much much deeper in the long term.
