I don’t do quiet time well.

Sitting on a warm beach with a book for example, we’ll that’s my idea of hell.

But long ago S1 worked out how to keep me quiet and give me my own recharge time.

Something broken.

I love fixing things with my own two hands.

Pulling apart, understanding, resolving and putting it all back together. It’s my quiet happy place.

So, around a month ago she let me buy an old film rangefinder. One which I knew needed some work.

Today I finished it’s first film and dropped it in to get professionally developed (to check things work).

On face value, it all seemed to work as it should, and that meant, tonight it was time to replace the light seals.

A good hour or so spent pottering away in my own happy place.

Job all done, and a kodak 400TX loaded and ready to play (can’t wait!).
