This morning we had good news.

I’m not a paranoid person, but I am worried about his eyes. I had to wear a patch over one eye for many years as a child to strengthen a very weak eye. It’s cause is hereditary.

So CJ has had his eyes tested.

Too small to know whats going on. Too small to tell us what he can see. Too small to understand.

But the initial results were very good. Both eyes working well, all very good news.

Today, I’m so proud of my wee man.

We got him a haircut this evening as well… it was a comedy of errors. We have postponed it a number of times as I wanted to be there to get a good photo.

On the way there we witnessed a shoplifter. Called the police and they were there straight away. I ended up going with them to try and spot the person, but we had no luck…

Whoops – I was late back for the haircut. But they had waited for me and only just started.

Grab the camera… whoops, I left home with a flat battery.

I think this first haircut was doomed to never be the photo op I’d hoped for.
