Ok, so this pic may be a few months old, but its a brutal, and very public, reminder of one of the key rules of drinking:

“If you ever buy a girly drink in public, you shall forever be known as the guy who buys girly drinks!”.

On a different note, tonight we went to Maxwells for a BBQ. It rained. It was cold. It was potentially the ‘last bbq’ of the season (the last BBQ is a holy moment…kind of like the last supper, but with flames).

But now i’m confused… As we are going to the UK we get 2 summers, so the bbqs will continue. So does that mean yonught was just another BBQ, or was it still the end of bbqing season? If so, it just doesn’t feel right that the next season could be only 4 weeks away?

Personally I hope Maxwell gets another few bbqs in… He needs the practice! Tonight he learnt ‘do not turn the gas burners on full , and the wait 30sec before getting someone to light it’. I regreat to advise 1 or 2 eye brows may have been damaged in the making of this update…

Mind you, getting a manly ‘last BBQ’ was always going to be difficult when we included ‘the hit who buys girly drinks’.
