Its S1 here tonight…

S2 is currently off playing with his camera… And his new lens!

Since S2 brought me a camera for my birthday last year he keeps complaining that I am using his ‘good’ lens, so today I finally gave him budget approval to buy a new ‘good’ lens for himself.

So, it was off to the camera store this morning, with an extremely excited S2, to try out the two lens that he had narrowed the options down to.

The outcome was set even before we went in – we were never going to leave the store until we had the new lens, a couple of filters and some other bits… (and a little over budget after all the extras were added). But who can deny the boy and his camera of the lens that he has been dreaming about for months now…

And of course, while driving home S2 decided to stop and take a photo of the sunset (after all S2 has a thing for sunsets – just look at his blip from last night) – and of course it had to be taken with his new lens…

Could there be a better shot?

After all, a boy with his camera always has a smile on his face… As does the girl with the camera who takes the shot.
