Well March has been and gone… I thought for a second there was no update for march, but luckily I did one on the 1st (still slack, but at least on paper I didn’t skip a month).
So here we are again…
Um, whats changed?
Well lots I suppose.
We are about to be homeless as our flat is being sold. So we have just started looking around.
I think we’ll stay in the same town. Its convenient and we like it there. Still trying to work out if we can justify a 2 bedroom – so if you think you may want to come stay at some point over the next year then let us know ASAP as it may just convince us to spend the extra.
In March we headed off to Venice for a long weekend. We went with Jo, Pop and Lynette.
Traveling in a group was really easy… by that I mean Pop and Sarah organised everything in advance, Jo made sure I got to the airport. Lynette kept finding cafe’s. Duncan navigated everywhere. Sarah managed our finances. And I simply went along for the ride… Thanks guys!
Venice itself was a lovely place. No cars!!! It was so peaceful without the hustle and bustle of traffic… and so quiet. Ever now and then there would just be the quiet puttputtputtputt of a boat going past.
I should also mention the coffee was fantastic, as was the pasta and pizza. Mmmmmm. Suddenly I’m hungry. ITs fair to say that for the first time ever on a holiday the coffee consumption was higher than the beer consumption… although it was a very close race 🙂

Its also been a month of Cars…
Fraser, Rory and I all headed off to the European Touring Cars down at Brands Hatch a few weeks ago. A bundle of fun… although Fraser and I were a little disappointed that we were too old for the face painting.
Somehow the little man even managed to grab a quick nap during the support races. I’m not sure if this means he finds race cars as boring as the rest of our family, or if it was simply that the sight of a digger in the morning was exhausting?
And last week I was off out on a track day racing Aston Martins and WRX’s. I still have a grin from ear to ear! Photos to follow soon.
Right, thats enough for one day… more of a ‘boy update’ today including facts and schedules – but better than nothing eh?
Good Luck to PAM after your operation!
Shane
