Day one of an overdue holiday…

Boy was it hot!

The hustle and bustle of Istanbul was more ‘polite hustle’ than I expected. Sure everyone tried to sell us everything, but a smile and a no got a polite nod and they left you alone. Some of them even offered to point us in the right direction and did so without any ‘catch’… not at all like the ‘tourist Asia’ I had in my mind.

Such a beautiful city.
