We missed out on a house we were bidding on today.

I’m devastated.

It’s not so much that we missed the house, after all another house will come along.

It’s more how much out bid was out.

We bid a lot more than the house was realistically worth as there is so little on the market. Two others bid way way higher, crazy money which even had our lawyer scratching his head.

Supply and demand is totally out of whack up here at the moment. Problem is, if this is a sign of the market then I have no idea what we will do from here…
