Tomorrow I’m staring down the barrel…

I have a presentation to do to the department heads.

Whats interesting is theres a new guy in the team. Hes been helping me work on this idea – and tomorrows D-Day.

I asked him to come and help present, to get a better feeling for the process and the personalities in the room.

He looked nervous.

Like I was asking him to stare down the barrel of a gun.

He asked if I could just present, and he could be there in case there was detailed questions. Works for me…

But I did have to smile at it. Its amazing the things that scare us…

I had a boss tell me a successful team is about finding people who compliment each others skills…

I’d never thought about finding people who compliment fears?
