Following last nights car issues, I came to a conclusion. I wouldn’t be happy until I had tried to fix it.
So tonight, in -0.5deg, snow lightly falling, I headed out with tools in hand.
Back to basics, engines need fuel and spark.
A couple of hours later (and some very cold fingers) she fired up again. Working good as new.
She’ll need a new set of plugs and leads, but the main thing is I know what Im dealing with now. I’m feeling a lot happier again.
Also spent the day negotiating on a car. Negotiating on cars is a thankless task which is so often full of no form of feedback as to if your doing well.
We did well with my blue car, but we only found that out afterwards. I think I’m doing well again…
actually, I think that’s all that matters. If I genuinely believe I have a good deal then it is a good deal. It’s an even better deal if the other half also thinks they have done well.
